I know it seems like re-signs are starting to wind down, but since we've had a few new owners join, I am going to keep them open for the time being. As of right now, there is no set date for the draft. I am in the process of moving down to Texas to start a new job, so I'm going to be in and out for the next week or two. Once I get unpacked and settled, things will really get moving (fortunately, we'll have the FIBA championships to tide us over until training camp).
As of right now, 9 teams still have a re-sign spot available: Oklahoma City, Cleveland, Kansas City, Minnesota (2), Chicago, Houston, Boston (2), Brooklyn, Charlotte. Teams are not required to use all of their re-sign spots, however they are gone at the conclusion of the re-sign period. Unused re-sign slots do not carry over to the next 5-year window. If a team does not have a free agent they want to use a re-sign on, they are more than welcome to trade for another team's free agent.
I don't want to put any solid dates on off-season events because I'm not sure I can commit to them. I will put some dates out there, but consider these tentative until further notice:
August 16th: Re-Sign period ends August 18th: Draft begins September 22nd: Free Agency opens (this can be moved up depending on the length of the draft)
Thanks for being patient everyone!

Alright guys, the Cavs are filled (everyone welcome jhinson to the league!), so we are ready to get this show on the road. Re-signs technically end tomorrow, however I am willing to extend that deadline since we only have two teams left with re-signs (Boston and Cleveland). We will still plan on the draft starting on the 18th. The Rockets have the first pick, and that can be made at midnight.
After that, free agency is still scheduled for the 22nd of September, but that can be moved up depending on how long the draft takes.

I can't even go into ESPN and update rosters, so free agency is still set for the 22nd.
Washington can make his pick any time before that.
Please, please, PLEASE make sure your rosters are updated. We have had incidents in the past where players that weren't free agents were bid on and won by other teams that the mods couldn't catch because they weren't on rosters here. Please make sure that your rosters are correct by the 16th. Mods will be checking, but let's not make their job any harder than it has to be.
Thanks guys!

ESPN is supposed to open their drafts tomorrow, so I will try to get rosters loaded up. If I can get it done tomorrow, we may be able to open up FA this weekend.

Offline draft results can't be entered until tomorrow (according to John at ESPN). I'll try to do it as soon as that's open.

ESPN is still behind on their offline draft stuff. I will get them entered as soon as that function becomes available. Hopefully it is sooner than later.

Just to give you guys another update, I contacted ESPN again today. Apparently their offline draft tools are not available, and they don't have a time yet for when those will become active. Until that happens, I cannot get the free agent list. I will continue to check each day, and once they're available, I will get the results entered.
I don't know why there has been such a delay this year. Last year I was able to get results entered in mid-August, yet here we are nearing the end of September, and nothing is available. I will keep you guys posted, and hopefully they become available within the week. If we get to the middle of October (which I don't think will happen, but you never know), we may just compile a free agency list offline and open things up. It's nearly impossible to keep track of free agents that way, so I hope it doesn't come to that point.

THE OFFLINE DRAFT TOOLS ARE AVAILABLE! I will have rosters in on Saturday. We'll audit Sunday. Free agency will begin Monday at midnight.
