Al Thornton 1,900,200 (2010, 2011x) Delonte West $4,254,250 (2011) Channing Frye - 500,000 (2011) 2011 Draft Pick (BKN)
WHY: Vegas likes the youth at the PG position, Hassel has shown potential, and comes cheap. Maggette was who I wanted despite his contract, I like his numbers and the young talent I got in return.
Hate to give up Frye might be a monster this year but thie improves my depth... We will miss you REDZ « Last Edit: Today at 9:25pm by studiscus(Vegas) » Report to Mod - Link to Post - Back to Top IP: Logged [image]

The Gamblers made another move today in acquiring Marvin Wiliams and a first round draft pick (BRK) via the Tampa Bay Bull Sharks. The front office feels content with this move even tough we have lost some proven scoring ability we have a solid SF and a future pick that could be very valuable down the line. With that being said this writer thinks the home team got the better of the long term deal..

The Gamblers rolled the dice again yesterday, they have made another trade, although some in the Front Office said off the record this was a disputed move. Time will tell what comes of this move, good, bad, or ugly.
To Washington Corey Maggette $9,000,000 (2012) Gerald Henderson $1,000,000(2013, 2014x) BOS 2013
To Las Vegas Luis Scola $10,000,000 (2014) Linas Kleiza $2,200,000 (2013) WAS 2012

The trades keep coming the new Gamblers team will look nothing like the third worst team in the league last year. Scola had only landed in Vegas and checked in to the Hard Rock before he was on a flight to Houston..

The Las Vegas Gamblers were aggressive with their RFA this offseason. They locked up Gordon Hayward early on in the process for 8M/yr for 4 years and a team option for the 5th year. Next they made a cap clearing move. They traded Carlos Boozer 11M, Channing Frye 10M, and CJ Miles 4M along with their 2016 and 2018 first rd. picks for Nick "Swaggy P" Young. This will be Nick's 2nd tour of duty with the Gamblers, and is reportedly happy with being back on a contender in the Western conference. This move was much less about acquiring the fun-loving G/F and more about clearing space for the Eric Bledsoe and Kyrie Irving's re-sign's. The Vegas Dispatch can confirm the rumors that the Gamblers have in fact extended an offer to Bledsoe's camp and the deal is all but done. This has been a face paced, fun start to the offseason and with the draft right around the corner this reporter anticipates more moves in the Gamblers future as they try to replicate and improve upon last years success.
Miege22: Had to start spending my own money on them haha

teefbe: Since Minny decided quickly on re=signs and player options are we going to move up free agency like last year or it stays on 12th?
Jul 30, 2018 16:15:50 GMT -5
Miege22: I've created a poll on the topic. Moving up FA is harder to do than the draft because it impacts everyone. If even one owner is not on board with moving it up, we'll leave it to start on the 12t

Cleveland Cavaliers: Are you a contender? Do you need another solid contributor for your squad on literally the cheapest deal possible? Well you're in luck, Allen Crabbe is your man! For the low cost of a 2019 draft pick that won't be high cuz you're a contender
Aug 1, 2018 12:45:56 GMT -5
Cleveland Cavaliers: This offer will only be available for like the next 8 hours or some shit so act now!
Aug 1, 2018 12:46:29 GMT -5

zephyr: does anyone know when espn is going to add position eligibility?
Nov 12, 2018 17:22:43 GMT -5
Miege22: They added PG eligibility for Bryn Forbes last week. I think they just kind of do it gradually
Nov 12, 2018 19:07:31 GMT -5
zephyr: great -- thanks!

zephyr: landry shamet's at 21.1 mpg for the season -- does that mean toronto has to make a decision on activating him from d-league?
Nov 27, 2018 11:30:31 GMT -5
Miege22: I think we need to go a little longer on the d-league signees, all of them, this year. 20 games isnt' a huge sample size, and a few low or no minute games can drastically impact those averages.
Nov 27, 2018 11:38:06 GMT -5
Miege22: I don't think a decision needs to be made until the last week of our season.
