They did get a lot for him though.. He probably would have walked in another year anyway.. It just sucks that Cleveland had to be decimated before the owners wised up..

I understand where you are coming from, but there was still hope that LeBron would re-sign. As a Cavs fan, we would have hated seeing the Cavs trade LeBron during a season where they had the best regular season record. The difference with the Cavs compared to the Nuggets and the Jazz, is that the Cavs were a legitimate title contender (until they hit Boston in the playoffs), whereas the Nuggets and Jazz are two middle of the pack teams in the West. In my opinion, it would have been easier on Cavs fans had LeBron re-signed with the Cavs, but said "hey, i will re-sign just so you can get something for me. i want to be traded, i need to go elsewhere." If he would have taken care of the organization that had taken care of him, then things wouldn't be nearly as bad as they are now. At the same time though, LeBron is LeBron and he is a complete, self-obsessed douche and would never think to help benefit anyone other than himself.

you are right up until I saw him arrive for "the Decimation", I though there is no way he does this to my home city on national tv.. yes, hindsight is 20/20 but I feel he knew in his heart of hearts that he was going to leave he was just too much of a pussy to even call or text the owner that had done nothing for him but help him be successful.. Now the Cavs are built around a player that isn't even there anymore.. yeah, I'm still just a little pissed..
Back on topic I think both Denver and Utah got the best deal possible given the circumstances. But todays NBA is a joke I hate to say it but the players have way too much control, and whats with all the lovey=dovey garbage before and after games.. I thought this was competition?!?!?!?!

Yeah I agree. I understand the desire to win rings, but at what cost? The cost of your "savior to a city" image or ruining your legacy because you took the "easy" way out? The one bright spot to Amare, Melo and now D Will leaving the west is that now LeBron's move to Miami to win a title, just became much more difficult. It also means that the west is not nearly as stacked as it once was. Sure, the Lakers, Mavs and Spurs are good now, but they are getting up there in age. I think I am most excited to see what OKC can do over the next few seasons. Durant and Westbrook are explosive combo and if they could sign a big man that can have a positive impact (Greg Oden when healthy) then OKC should be fun to watch going forward.

Good point about OKC.. They could be the preeminent team in the west for a years to come... The west has definitely taken a hit in regards to free agency and trades that have made the East the stronger conference...
