So... yikes. He called Koby a slave trader. His career might be over.

Very depressing news, honestly really hurt to see this happen. Porter has a lot of problems as it seems he cannot escape whatever demons he was raised with. Players like Dejounte Murray got to fix these problems as a younger age but its very rare for that to happen without the consistent role models and at the same time how much you try fix it.
With the suicidal comments, hanging with the wrong crowd (unfortunately his sister is apart of this), isolation from the team, his mind is simply out of the world.
Really sucks to see, his teammates were happy to have him back, JB was committed to helping him, but him breaking down shows why the Cavs just cant trust him. I dont know how he was in the locker room last year, but really think he should of been around the team to practice this year. Say what you want but with his mind u need to be around your brothers who support you, he probably thinks its the world against him 24/7 and obviously he had all the tension built up of being gone from the team.
Inexcusable to react like he did as basically the team put him on probation, hes just living up to all the red flags that have been following him his career.
Kevins only 20 man and I hope to God that not only he gets another chance (whether it be like Josh Jackson) but he gets through whatever problems he has. The teammates seemed to like him, the 206 community will always be there for him, hell even Melo was there for them this year. They say you grow up becoming what your environment was, or parents. Wishing for the best

I know that the COVID layoff was a problem as it took him away from the structure the Cavs had set up for him, and I think he kind of fell into old habits and friend groups. It really is a shame because he is so talented, and he knows how to play the game. I hope wherever he lands next is able to get him what he needs to succeed.
