There's ONE WEEK LEFT in the season, and we've got a barnburner of a Finals, here's your update:
Seattle leads Chicago, 6-3 To this point, the Sonics have benefitted from over 200 extra minutes played, but that has not resulted in a massive lead. While blocks are locked up, and boards and steals are getting closer to safe, the Sonics lead in threes by 1, assists by 4 and points by 85. Bradley Beal has poured in an incredible 146 points over 4 games (36.5 ppg), however, he is going to miss at least the next two games with a hamstring injury. With Kevin Porter Jr. already out (and probably not coming back because the real life Rockets are TANK tanking), a lot of the scoring onus is going to fall on guys who aren't score first. Guys like Bam, Lonzo, Dejounte, and RoCo are going to have to step up and hit some shots. Despite the minutes advantage, it should not be a surprise that Seattle is struggling in assists because they've gotten a combined one game from Harden, Schroder and KPJ. The Sonics are so big heavy at this point, that it is possible they come from behind in field goal percentage, but we'll have to wait and see on that one.
Meanwhile, Chicago will definitely be without Donovan Mitchell for the rest of this series. It would be kind of wild for Chicago to pull off a title without Mitchell in either the ECF or Finals, and if they pull it off, they'll have Julius Randle and Nikola Vucevic to thank. Vuc has averaged 25-15-5 while Randle is at 20-10-5. The unsung hero, however, is D'Angelo Russell. The point guard has dished out 26 assists and knocked down 11 threes. With four games left from Russell, the Bulls could easily flip both categories. Looking ahead, both teams are scheduled to play the same number of games this week, and that last day is going to be super interesting. Every team in the league will be playing in the afternoon, though surely some guys will be out with injuries, so neither team will be able to sit anyone based on the score. If this thing is still in doubt come Sunday... buckle up.

Not sure that scoring output for Chicago is going to get it done.

Given the canceled finals last year, and the messiness of this season, I'm so glad our finals is coming down to the wire like this.
Though I'm sure both Chicago and seattle are nervous as hell lol

At least they're late games, so there was time to make a switch.
