SUNDAY UPDATE OKC leads, 5-4 HOU | CAT | OKC | 44.94% | FG % | 47.69% | 78.45% | FT % | 74.48% | 196 | REBS | 238 | 128 | ASTS | 139 | 45 | STLS | 37 | 21 | BLKS | 22 | 86 | THREES | 78 | 68 | TOS | 72 | 611 | PTS | 640 | 4 | TOTAL | 5 |
Given how close this one is, I would suggest moltreszwarriors has his lineup set through at least Wednesday, in case there are any stat corrections that change the outcome.

Couple of fun wrinkles in the West match-ups... right now, Devin Booker has outplayed both Anthony Edwards and Devin Vassell by himself. I think we all remember the Devin Booker re-sign kerfuffle that resulted in OKC trading him to GS.
However, a move that flew under the radar from this summer was Kansas City dumping Tre Mann to Phoenix in order to open up more cap space to sign Kemba Walker (womp womp). Mann dropped 24-6-3 last night in a match-up where, so far, every point has mattered.
Also, not to go off on a tangent, but Poopy has done a remarkable job finding value late in the draft. Mann at 20 this year. Maxey at 19 last year. Clarke at 16 the year before. I don't know if you want to count him, but Miles Bridges at 12 in 2018 (currently going off for PHX, ironically enough). Now if he would just find the patience to see those picks through...

Normally I wouldn't declare a series over so early into a match-up... but I think Tampa has this one locked up lol.
Not only would it give Tampa a spot in the ECF, as well as the lead in the playoff head-to-head (4-3)... it would give them the lead in the all-time head-to-head. Coming into these playoffs, these two had split 12 regular season match-ups and 6 playoff match-ups. The win would give Tampa the 10-9 edge.

I am enjoying the experience, it has taken a while to get here. Pretty comfortable with the match up, Luka had a pretty sick game the other day which helped OKC a lot. Glad for the all star break, some injuries were creeping in for some of my guys.

Assumimg Brogdon plays the remaining games, I have a 19 games disadvantage (66 vs 85). If Poopy manages to lose this, good for me but honestly I'm not putting too much heart into it

I don’t know if this is the case for sure but on the surface it has appeared that way.

That's honestly crazy, though I feel like every time we do this whole "x team plays this many more games than y team," it's y team that ends up winning lol

I don’t know if this is the case for sure but on the surface it has appeared that way. There are a number of teams that had a handful of games cancelled due to COVID earlier this year. Just 4-5 games getting cancelled and made up at another time can cause a pretty extreme imbalance.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but 5 of the 6 match-ups thus far this year have never happened before in this league. That's kind of wild.

So I decided to look up the playoff rosters for our three teams breaking droughts (GS, OKC, and ATL) to see if any of those teams have a current player that was on their team then... the only one was OKC, who happened to employ Jae Crowder during the 2014-15 season. Obviously, Crowder was on a few teams after that before ending up back in OKC, but an interesting nugget nonetheless.
