Alright, since it seems at least the first two were fairly popular, let put it to a vote:
1. All off-season signings may be traded or waived immediately upon approval of this proposal.
2. Any FA signing made from this point forward will only face a dead period of 10 DAYS, instead of 30 DAYS. They may be traded or waived starting on the 10th day.
A simple majority will pass this (11 votes). If you haven't voted in the other poll, please do so, as that could still potentially pass. However, at the very least, we can give teams some needed flexibility.

For the record I am in favor of the original proposal.

For anyone curious, the 10 day rule would apply RETROACTIVELY to those that have been signed in-season. So if you signed someone on the 4th, and this passes, you can waive them tomorrow. If this passes today, anyone signed prior to January 4th is eligible to be traded or waived.

I like this, but I canโt support something that doesnโt address the immediate covid concerns. This helps, but we need a bold change and Iโm concerned this wonโt take us to where it needs to be (original proposal).

For the record I am in favor of the original proposal. Seconded. I think we need an all or nothing approach.

To add to my previous post for context. The commissioner has the power to help everyone survive this difficult time but he is openly skimping on providing each team the necessary funds to help create fairness this season! Open up the wallet commissioner!

This has officially passed. The new rules are now in effect until the end of the season.
