Had to update Portland because, technically, they haven't clinched a spot yet. There is still a scenario in which they fall to third. They would have to lose to GS, 9-0, and Seattle would have to beat LV, 9-0. It's a wildly unrealistic scenario, but it does, technically, exist. Also, here are the standings with cats won/lost, which could come into play NORTH | CATS WON | CATS LOST | Brooklyn Nets | 17 | 10 | Chicago Bulls | 15 | 11 | Washington Wizards | 13 | 13 | New York Knicks | 13 | 14 | Toronto Raptors | 12 | 22 |
SOUTHEAST | CATS WON | CATS LOST | Tampa Bay Bull Sharks | 18 | 9 | Memphis Grizzlies | 14 | 13 | Miami Heat | 14 | 13 | Orlando Magic | 15 | 12 | Atlanta Hawks | 11 | 25 |
MIDWEST | CATS WON | CATS LOST | Kansas City Kings | 16 | 11 | OKC Thunder | 13 | 14 | Colorado Swannies | 18 | 18 | Houston Rockets | 12 | 15 | Utah Jazz | 13 | 14 |
NORTH | CATS WON | CATS LOST | Portland Trailblazers | 22 | 5 | Seattle Supersonics | 14 | 13 | Golden St. Warriors | 16 | 11 | Las Vegas Gamblers | 11 | 16 | Phoenix Suns | 9 | 27 |

I'm a week early, but I'm sketching it out right now and want to make sure I have it down somewhere. Here are the clinching scenarios for teams still alive in each group:
NORTH Brooklyn/Chicago - winner takes the group and faces the 2nd place team from the MW; loser faces the 1st place team from the MW.
SOUTHEAST Tampa Bay has won the group and will face the 2nd place team from the Pacific
Memphis/Miami - winner gets 2nd place and faces the 1st place Pacific team
MIDWEST Colorado - wins the group if Houston and Utah win, but all three are tied in cats won/lost (so if Houston wins by a 6-3 or 5-4 score and Utah wins by a 5-4 score); finishes 2nd if KC wins and Utah beats OKC, 4-4-1 on a points tiebreaker
Houston - wins the group if Utah defeats OKC by a 5-4 score and they beat KC by winning 6+ categories and losing 2 or fewer categories
Kansas City - wins the group with a win over Houston
OKC - wins the group with a win over Utah and a KC loss to Houston
Utah - needs to beat OKC and lead in cats won/lost in order to win the group or finish second
Honestly the MW is kind of convoluted, so the best way to think about it is this...
KC win/OKC win - KC is 1, OKC is 2 KC win/UTA win - KC is 1, OKC is 2 (OKC would be 2-1 against COL, HOU, UTA, same as COL; but they have the head-to-head on COL) HOU win/OKC win - OKC is 1, KC is 2 if they get 3 cats against Houston; COL is 2 if HOU/KC ends up with a 1-7-1 score; HOU is 2 if they beat KC by a score of 6-2-1 or better HOU win/UTA win - everyone is tied and we go to categories won then lost to determine who advances
In the event of a tie that cannot be broken by head-to-head or categories, I will flip a coin and probably livestream that in our discord or something. I don't know yet.
PACIFIC Portland - wins the group with a win over Golden St.; if they lose to Golden St., and Seattle defeats Vegas, they will still clinch a top-2 spot if they take at least 1 category in their game against GS.
Golden St. - wins the group with a win and a Seattle loss to Vegas; can still get in with a loss if Seattle also loses and they lead in categories
Las Vegas - cannot win the group; can finish 2nd with a win and a GS loss to Portland as long as they take 6 more categories against Seattle than GS does against Portland
Seattle - cannot win the group but can finish 2nd with a win over Vegas; can finish 2nd with a loss and a GS loss to Portland, but will need to lead on categories (currently -2)

Alright, so here's the final update...
-Brooklyn wins and takes 1st in the North; Chicago is 2nd
-Tampa Bay is 1st in the Southeast; Memphis defeats Miami to take 2nd
-Kansas City's loss and Utah's win forced a 5-way tie in the Midwest; KC takes 1st by virtue of most categories won (19); Houston, Utah, and Colorado finished in a 3-way tie for 2nd with 18 categories won; Colorado wins the tiebreaker by virtue of their head-to-head wins over Houston and Utah; Colorado is 2nd
-Portland is 1st in the Pacific; Seattle defeats Las Vegas and takes 2nd.
I'll have final standings and bracket posted at some point over the next few days
